What we do
The Equally Safe at Work framework
Our framework supports employers to progress from building a foundation for change to embedding a strong culture of gender equality within your organisation. You can begin the journey by working towards development or bronze tier, then progressing to silver and gold tiers once each stage is achieved and maintained.
You’ll receive support to collect and analyse data, develop initiatives and review and update policies, practice and resources.
We'll provide a comprehensive handbook to guide you along your journey providing detailed guidance on how to demonstrate you're meeting the standards. We’ll also provide targeted awareness-raising material and bespoke support to help you work towards the tiers.
Our standards
To meet the standards and receive accreditation, you will need to work towards criteria categorised into six key themes which align with women's workplace equality.

Our accreditations
Employers can start with either the development or bronze tier. The tiers are cumulative, and employers progress to the next level once the criteria at each stage is achieved and maintained.
Community of Practice
Participating in our Equally Safe at Work Community of Practice provides an opportunity to network with like-minded employers, to share learning on gender equality at work, and to get ready to join the programme in the future.
It maximises the benefits of collaboration, bringing together organisations from different sectors and stages of their journey on gender equality and violence against women. It gives participants a chance to discuss challenges and reflect on their progress so far, as well as their next steps.
